Combo Charts
The
combo charts or small big band charts are written
for: tpt, alto, tenor, bone, pn/bs/drms.
Many
of these charts are original tunes written over changes
to standards. These are perfect for the young
improviser who can read new charts over changes that
are somewhat familiar.
Having
four horns rather than 3 allows for more flexibility
in voicings and a bigger and fuller sound. They
are fun to play and fun to blow over too.
